Q. 14   What are the requirements for attestation of documents or Power of Attorney?

Ans. 

1. General Power of Attorney in two copies.

2. Original passport of the applicant/ applicants, along with copies of

the passport (front page, back page and residence page).

3. Copies of Passport(front page, back page and residence page) and Civil ID(duly signed by them) of Witnesses 

4. In case Power of Attorney is in the name of spouse, proof of spouse

may be provided.

5. Physical presence of witnesses is not required. However copies of their Passport(front page, back page and residence page) and Civil ID(duly signed by them) is required.

Fee: One signatory-KD 6.250(excluding ICWF charges)

Two signatory-KD 9.500(excluding ICWF charges)

Signature and Photo- KD 9.500(excluding ICWF charges)

Please Note:

* Applicant has to come in person.

* The Applicant must produce Passport, Civil ID or any other

related document in original for verification.

* All copies of documents should be self attested (sign & date).

* Additional documents may be needed for verification depending

upon the documents submitted.

* General Power of Attorney is NOT typed in the Embassy. 

Spouse will not be considered as witness
