Updates to Embassy''s message to Indian Engineers in Kuwait

1. This is further to Embassy’s message issued on 17 May 2018.

2. Embassy repeats its request that in respect of individual cases where Residencies are expiring soon (within the next 3 months), they may continue contacting Shri Yashwant Chatpalliwar, Second Secretary, Email: sspic@indembkwt.org; Tel. +965 22550171 (Direct).

3. Kuwait is sending a team of senior officers to India in the second half of this month for discussions with the concerned authorities in the Government of India.

4. The Embassy has been in touch with senior representatives of engineers’ associations and forums in Kuwait so that all the concerns and accreditation issues are brought to the attention of the visiting Kuwaiti delegation, and are addressed comrehensively and authoritatively by the competent authorities in India.

5. In view of the scheduled India-Kuwait discussions as above on this important issue, engineers are requested to avoid comments through public platforms and instead be in touch with Shri Arun Davidson, General Convener, Kuwait Engineers’ Forum (Email: arundavidson@yahoo.com) / Shri G.
